The National Intimate Partner And Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) is an ongoing survey that collects the most current and comprehensive national and state-level data on intimate partner violence.  Sexual violence and stalking victimization in the United States.  We recognized the lack of representation of this under-represented population within existing stock imagery. We wanted to create more realistic emotion, be inclusive of non-binary groups, and have shots with people with disabilities, both non-visible and visible.  Edelman worked with CDC subject matter experts to create a base image library that our client could use across both print and digital.

Client: CDC (NISVS Division)

Subject Matter Expert: Sharon Smith

Production: WildDingo Studios & Edelman

Hair/Make-Up: Brielle Brenner

Creative Direction: Amber Wilburn

Shot of me art directing our real talent. It was critical to the CDC that our talent be real people with the disabilities rather than professional models.
